Many of my days start and end at the Mandell JCC. Bright and early at 5:30 I’m greeted with Michel’s warm “Good Morning!” on my way to a workout class or to swim laps. At the end of the day you’ll usually find me and Jason watching our kids aged 7 and 11 at the Sharks Swim Team practice. And then there’s all the in between times, the aftercare pick-up at Kids Korner during the school year, the karate class, the youth performance class, the weekend visits to the playscape, a junior theater production, a service project, a film festival screening, a JNext event, a Board Meeting and a quiet moment in the art gallery. Not to mention all the wonderful summer camps and the Swim & Tennis Club where you’ll find us anytime we have a spare moment.
The JCC is a second home to us, a welcoming community, and an enriching resource for the area. Over the 8 years of belonging to the JCC our engagement has changed as our kids have grown and the JCC has had opportunities for each stage. We are proud to support the JCC with a legacy commitment to help ensure it continues to thrive and remain an important and vibrant part of our community.
