The Jewish community of Greater Hartford is very special to Mark and me. After we were married, Mark was interested in learning more about the Jewish faith. We attended an Intro to Judaism class and Mark was certain converting was for him. We fully embraced a Jewish life.

When our kids were born, we brought them to tot shabbat before they could walk. They were truly raised at the Mandell Jewish Community Center, attending pre-school and continuing through today.

We are proud members of The Emanuel Synagogue. Raising our children there, each having their B’nai Mitzvahs. Both Mark and I give back to the Jewish community by volunteering our time with many of the Greater Hartford Jewish organizations.

Being Jewish is an immense part of who and what we are. With everything that is happening in the world today, it is even more important to make sure that the Jewish community of Greater Hartford will be alive and well for our children and their children.
