We have been members of the Greater Hartford Community since 1979, but Ted grew up in West Hartford. You could say that he has deep roots in Hartford. Ted’s family on his mother’s side, if you include our grandchildren, goes back six generations (five lived in the Hartford area). Ziona’s grandfather, Rabbi Isaac Hurewitz, was the first Eastern European orthodox Rabbi in Hartford.

The Community is a friendly, caring place and we want to give back to the Community through the agencies we support to sustain them for current and future generations.

Life is not stagnant and the Community goals may change, but our commitment to the Community is unwavering.
